The XTERRA Turkey Track Trail Run kicks off the season with an awesome, early season trail race on almost 100% sweet flowing single track. Plenty of scenic trail, rolling hills and mellow climbs through Aspens, Ponderosa Pines and open forest (okay, it also has rocks, streams, roots and perhaps a little mud).

Devil Mountain Ultra 50/50

This legendary trail ultra is One hell of a run!
This remote and beautiful classic Ultra brings runners together for two days in the pristine forest of the South San Juan Mountains around Pagosa Springs. 7,500’ of climbing, 10,000’ of elevation, bonfire party at the finish line and pancake awards breakfast combine to make this an authentic mountain ultra. With the Demons of Dust distances of 5k, 10k and half marathon, this event is accessible to all runner abilities. Big climbs, high elevations, mountain vistas and plenty of single track through some of the region’s most spectacular wooded trail.

Mountain Chile Cha Cha Festival

The Mountain Chile Cha Cha celebrates Fall and trail running, combining our incredible in-town trails with the famous Pagosa Springs music and green chile festival. Celebrate the series, the season, trail running and getting kids outside on Pagosa’s killer downtown trail course. Beautiful, challenging and remote, all right downtown.

Non-Competitive Fun Run-Jog-Walk
3k and 5k downtown before the parade/

Location: Opposite the Town Hall/Community Center Parking Lot on Hot Springs Boulevard Start the 4th July with a bang at the Star Spangled Shuffle, a 3k and 5k Fun Run/Walk that will start and finish at the car park of the Ross Aragon Community Center. Finish and get your Star Spangled Finisher’s medal in time to watch the parade in town center at 10am. All ages and abilities welcome, bring your dogs, strollers and the whole family! Clif Bars & Shot at the finish! Wear Red, White & Blue – or Stars and Stripes if you can. Prizes for the best dressed!
